Loan Schemes

Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL) in collaboration with Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and Lanka Electricity Company ( Pvt) Ltd (LECO) have initiated couple scheme with a view of promoting “roof top solar system” installation and have introduced the following loan schemes to the general public.

1. ADB Rooftop Solar Power Generation Line of Credit (RSPGLoC) Project

1. Eligibility – All CEB / LECO Consumers
2. Quantum of loan – Individuals - Up to 100% of the value of system up to Rs 1.5Mio and above 1.5Mio up to 80% of the value of the system Commercial Establishments – Up to 80% of the value of the system
3. Rate of Interest – 8% p.a.
4. Maximum Repayment Period – 10 Years
5. Maximum of capacity – 50KW

2. “Rivi Bala Savi” Loan Scheme

1. Eligibility – CEB/ LECO Consumers
2. Quantum of Loan - Rs 350,000.00
3. Rate of Interest – 6% pa.
4. Maximum Repayment Period – 05Years
